For a usable quotation, send the product reference, quantities by size, required changes and delivery destination. We review existing models and custom enquiries on that basis. Minimum quantities, sample work, packing and any development costs are confirmed for the actual items in your request.
Product definition
Replace a broad product name with a complete buying line
State the material, model or drawing, size, front/hind pattern, section, nail-hole layout, clips, finish and marking. For nails or tools, include the series, dimensions and packing. These details prevent a lower price from being compared with a different construction.

Send your drawing, sample reference or proposed change for a feasibility review. Ask for one-time development, tooling and sample costs to be separated from the repeat product price. An initial enquiry starts the review; it does not confirm that every concept is ready for production.
Comparison discipline
Compare the same specification and the same responsibility
Check whether each quote includes the same material, size mix, finish, pack count, inspection scope and Incoterm. This is especially important for strong, durable forged products, where section, weight and manufacturing route can materially change the offer.
Make quantities and selling units explicit
State whether each quantity means pieces, pairs, sets or boxes. For nails, include the proposed count per box; for horseshoes, list the front and hind split where relevant. This avoids comparing prices based on different units.
Include your requested delivery term and named destination with the arrival window. We can then clarify the product and shipment basis before the quotation is finalized.

Can I request a quote before every detail is finalized?
You can begin with a model, drawing or sample reference, your intended size quantities and destination. Identify the details still undecided. We can review what is missing, but changes to the specification, packing or delivery basis may change the offer.
Which costs should be separated in a custom quotation?
Ask for development, tooling and sample work to be distinguished from repeat product pricing. Also clarify marking, packaging and the delivery basis. Separate costs make the scope visible; they do not mean that any item is automatically included or free.
How should pieces, pairs, sets and boxes be specified?
State the selling unit on each order line. For horseshoes, include the front and hind breakdown; for boxed nails, include the number of nails per box. A price per pair cannot be compared directly with a price per piece or an undefined set.
Does a product price include delivery to my warehouse?
Do not assume that it does. Confirm the quoted delivery term and named place, and identify the transport and destination costs included in the offer. Provide your receiving address or destination details and arrival requirements when requesting a delivery quotation.
