Farrier Fit and Specification

A horseshoe cannot be selected from nominal size alone. Compare the outside length and width, branch width and thickness, web section, inner and outer profile, nail-hole count and pitch, crease or fuller geometry, and any toe or quarter clip requirement. Front and hind patterns may need separate approval. The final shoe should be fitted and modified only by a trained farrier after assessing hoof balance, wall quality, workload and terrain.

Material and Sample Approval

Stainless steel is the listed material, but the exact alloy grade, hardness, forming response and surface condition must be confirmed for the ordered version. Buyers should request a dimensional drawing and representative sample before bulk production, then record acceptable tolerances for symmetry, branch alignment, nail-hole position and finish. A stainless designation alone does not establish suitability for every horse or discipline.
