Horseshoe Sizes and Drawings for OEM Orders
Send dimensions with the size name when sourcing a horseshoe. Overall width and length, section, nail holes and clips help identify the product more clearly than a size number alone. A marked drawing or a physical sample lets us review the features that must stay the same and those you want to change.

Keep pattern identity visible across the size range
Front and hind shoes may use different proportions even when the size number is similar. Record each pattern separately and show how dimensions progress between sizes. This is especially important for a new distributor range or a custom family developed from one reference sample.

Use the physical shoe to complete, not replace, the drawing
RELIA can reverse-review a physical sample, but the sample may contain wear, distortion or hand adjustments. Agree which features represent the intended new product, then create a controlled drawing or specification for approval and repeat production.
Revision control
Protect the final design from informal changes
Give every drawing a part number, revision and date. Mark critical dimensions and acceptable variation where needed. When a sample changes, update the drawing and approval record before bulk production. This makes later repeat orders faster and easier to inspect.
File preparation
Send the clearest available technical reference
Send a readable drawing with units and a revision reference. Tell us the available file format so we can confirm how it will be reviewed. A physical sample can also help define the product.
Prepare a reference that can be checked
- Identify the product. State the model, size and front or hind pattern.
- Mark the important dimensions. Include units and the points from which measurements are taken.
- Separate changes from fixed features. Highlight each requested adjustment instead of relying on a product photograph.
- Name the revision. Keep the drawing date or version with the sample comments and quotation.
Photographs help explain the shape but do not replace measurements. If only a sample is available, tell us what it represents and which details should be reviewed.
